For my special Mom the lady in my life
On this your own special day;
I want you to celebrate it
In your very own unique way.

For the thrill of a lifetime some would ski
Others would jump from high in a plane;
But I know you want to be pampered
All that laying about would drive me insane.

So you're booked into a spa for two days
With everything you want all in.
So use and abuse it my lovely mom
To not use all of it would be a sin.

A nice meal and a bottle of wine though

We've ordered blue skies and sunshine
That's why you're on a plane;
Trying to get it sorted round here
Was driving us insane.

Don't worry we'll be there later
A few things to finish off;
Dad especially is faffing around
He wants to look like a Toff!!

We all worship the ground you stand on
You work hard for us all year round;
So for this very special birthday
Your feet won't touch the ground.
