The sacrifice that Jesus made
Was not an easy one;
He had asked for it to go
The human fall had to be undone.
He was the only one
But still he double checked;
That this cup couldn't go
All others had a defect.
He was perfection as it comes
No need for sacrifice;
But for the rest of us it would
Have been a throw of the dice.
This is where a "Thank You"
Sounds so pitifully small;
But it is best with pure intent
Than never said at all.

The friends of Jesus found it hard
So very hard to follow true;
There was one who gave in
Betraying the one and only who.
The one who had the knowledge
The one who truly knew God;
The one who had the love for us
And prepared to take the rod.

Easter Is Really for Jesus
Easter is not just for the Bunny,
With goodies and treats that he brings,
Easter is when we must celebrate
And alleluia is the song that we sing!
Easter is really for Jesus,
Who died and then rose from the dead.
We must always remember the love Jesus showed
And all of the things that He said.
So, remember this Easter when you go to Church,
And this message you tell everyone.
That easter is all about Jesus,
The Bunny and treats are just fun!

As seeing is believing; if in front of us right now
Would it happen again, I ask you and Amen!

Faith at the present in the world
Is neither here nor there;
The gold and silver inspires more
Than the faith in God and prayer.
There will come a time
The Bible does foretell;
That in fact the godless will
Be able to see it all as well.
Better late than never
At that time will not apply;
Unfortunately for those right then
It will be far too late to cry.
