Daddy I know the train was meant for me
But I need you to sort it out;
Which means we get to play all day
That's what it's all about.

I'm glad you're my Dad
You are simply the best;
It's quite simple you know
You're just a cut above the rest.

The snow flakes are laying
The stars are twinkling in the sky;
We're watching out the window
For Santa to fly by.

I know, that you know, that I know he's not real
But we both play this game together;
I love you dad and hope that we
Will stay this close forever.

Merry Crimbo, I hear you shout
Out loud along the street;
It won't be long now before
I hear the patter of your feet.

The stocking at the end of my bed
You reckon Rudolph brings;
I'm hiding under the sheets
I know that reindeer can't sing.

I love the way you do it though
As if magically it all appears;
The wonder of our Christmas's
Laughing and joking through our beers.

Fat men shouldn't wear red
It really doesn't suit;
But with all the other gear
It really looks quite cute.

As you huff and puff
Up the creaky stairs;
Us children all agog
Waiting for our wares.

We sent letters long ago
We asked for you to post;
So you know exactly what we want
But it's you we love the most.
