We will set a good example;
So being good and being kind
And that is just a sample.

Respect and honor for your parents
Is one of the famous ten;
Grandparents and Godparents count too
So that's our prayer, Amen

So don't cry when they throw water at you
Just join us cheeily.

On your forehead fall;
You will bear the mark
And answer his call.
To follow his footsteps
Be as nice as nice can be;

First came love
Then came marriage
Then came (name)
In a baby carriage
Now's the time
To make it all complete
And to hold the Christening
Of this child so sweet

Today, let's remember
God now has a new little member
We ask God to care for your child
And pray (Bobby) will have a smooth ride
And as (he) (she) travels along life's road
(He) (She) is never burdened with a heavy load

You are being blessed this day
Anointed with Christs life;
A brand new start from this very day
Protecting you from strife.

His footsteps you should follow
They'll lead you up to heaven;
Congratulations on this event
You will be forgiven.

You are a lovely baby
Beautiful, miraculous it's true;
We all love you very much
Today we will pray for you.
